These cables are great quality, however ...
I should have gone with the 2 foot cables.
These are exactly 12" from the tip of the connectors.
I was trying not to have extra cable from my switch to the patch panel

I'll admit - when I saw how cheap this was I ordered one half expecting it to have been a mislabeled product. It wasn't. I tested the patch cables immediately and got 1 gb speeds without a problem. (I know it should support up to 10gb in theory, but I don't have any 10gb network equipment so I can't really test that). I keep the bag by my rack because where I constantly find myself needing short patch cables, and these work great.

These little cables are great. For the price it is easier to order these than make them myself. Great for organzing and those short runs from the switch to the patch panel. All seem to meet Cat6 specs and all work fine.

I have a lot of cables and these one foot cables perform well. I don't have a real network tester so can't tell you they meet 6E requirements
