5Exactly what we needed  Dec 06, 2011 By DANA DUFF
[from the buyer's husband] We had DSL in the house and cable in the studio, then decided to consolidate by canceling the DSL and connecting the cable to the house. We then tried wireless range boosters, expensive access points, 3-foot antennas, etc., but nothing worked to connect our house to the studio (about 100 feet as the crow flies). So we bought this outstanding cable and grafted it to our old coax that we were removing (we wouldn't need cable at the studio anymore once we put in this cable) to pull it through. After a couple of hours of yanking it through various landscaping changes--ivy, dirt, tree roots (this is very thick, tough cable)--we made the connection to a gigabit switch at the other end, to which we plugged in a WAP for wireless in the studio. It has been flawless for many months and there's nothing like a solid wired connection.
