I did a lot of research on Amazon and various websites before piecing together all the components for a new home theater system. It is the first time we have had a large screen TV and surround sound, so while I didn't want to break the bank, I didn't want to skimp or be disappointed with the final result or angry at myself for pinching pennies.
This item had good reviews and I have to say that so far I am not disappointed. I can not imagine the picture on my new 55" Samusung 1080p/120hz LCD being any more clear. I have so far only tested the connection direct from Bluray to TV, but the image is impeccable. I have my gear in a closet in a wall adjacent to the TV, so we had some difficulty running the cable through the wall, the attic and the other wall. I mention that because I was concerned the cable would become kinked or damaged during it's journey through the insides of my home, but it is sturdy and well built. We covered the connector well before sending it on it's way, and I don't believe it was damaged at all. I saw cables that were 5 times the price of this one, yet it would be hard to believe that the picture quality could be any better. I am not a videophile, but do consider myself one that pays close attention to detail. I tend to have high standards when it comes to video and audio and this cable did not let me down. For the price and quality I recommend it highly.

I use this cable with my Panasonic AE-PT3000U projector, a sony blu-ray and Onkyo TX-SR706 receiver in a theater room. The sound and picture are superb. Excellent quality connections.

 Cable works but not at 1080P 60hz or with 1080P on xbox360 Dec 11, 2011

I Purchased this cable based on what I read about long runs for HDMI cables (needs to be at least 24 -22 awg, reviews and the description... about being guaranteed and certified. (read the description about the higher resolutions.
When I hooked it up from my projector directly to my blu-ray player it works on 720 and 1080P but only at the 24hz. When I turned on the 60hz resolution from the Blu-ray player the screen blanked out and back on until I could change the resolution back to 24hz. Next, I tried the cable on my XBOX 360. It also works fine on 720hz but not on the 1080P. SO Based on my current experience with this 35ft high speed hdmi 22awg cable (with ferrite cores). I have had no problems with shorter cables running at full resolution between the xbox and projector or the blu-ray player and projector. However, now that I have moved my system to the front of the room There is either a problem with the cable OR there is a problem with truth in advertising especially since it ways that it is Certified and Guaranteed. I have to figure out what to do next.

No problems with the item in terms of connections and structure, however, when I tested it directly from my PS3 to TV I got jitters and blackouts galore. Here and there the cord would work fine, but 5 minutes later it was back on the fritz. SOOOO glad I didn't put this in my ceiling to feed my projector without testing. I am returning the item and purchasing another.
