Honestly, when it comes to buying cheaper things for expensive hobbies, sometimes you get a little skeptical about the product you want or need to buy. That's very wise. However, I must say that there are certain off-brand products out there that are made with decent quality that will satisfy your needs! This cable is one of them (So far I've had it for a week with no issues). Need to save money? Need to or want to play Xbox on your monitor? This is for you.

I works. I didn't get any ghosting, but unfortunately my monitor only supports HD on the DVI port. This cable CAN give a 1080p resolution but make sure your device will support it through the VGA port (most, from my understanding, don't.) The audio connectors were a bit of a hassle though because I had to route an extension seeing as my monitor doesn't have RCA jacks. Thats more of a personal setup issue though.

Image ghosting gets progressively worse as you up the resolution. Otherwise it is very nice to have for an xbox when you want to use a standard monitor.
If you have a DVI, component, or hdmi plug on your crt/projector/lcd/plasma just use those. The VGA is great for using an older monitor though, just make sure you have a female plug or an adapter.

This is just a cheap cable with a bit of ghosting. Cheap cable, if you want quality, shell out the dough for the official MS one.
