I have a couple hundred ft of this buried in pvc conduit at about 24-30". I live in WI and the weather can get pretty harsh. After two winters I have had zero issue. I wanted to use the excess for some indoor cables but the gel made it so much of a pain that it wasn't worth the mess. The gel is a sticky nightmare of a substance and hard to get off of your hands.
