Perfect. Yet not needed after all. May 16, 2012
By Charles Schmalz Now, I have this if/when I need it. Nothing else to say, really. I purchased then realized I didn't need it, because I purchased with another cable that actually did the job without this. I am just so happy this product exists.

Be sure to buy duct tape to go with it Aug 16, 2011
By Rebecca S I was thrilled when I found this. I had an uncovered an old switch box I was going to use to share my printer with two computers. The back of the switch box had all female ports and all the cords I found also female, so this little guy looked like the solution to my problems. However, it created some new problems. First I connected it to the back of my switch box and secured it by screwing in the tiny end screws. However, that now made it impossible to connect the other female to the other side as that cord had female screw parts and was bashing into the back end of the screw parts on the adaptor, making it impossible for the coupling. The only way to resolve this was to remove the tiny screw parts entirely from the coupler. So I did this thinking that the coupling male/female parts would be sufficient to hold it together and got everything hooked up. Boy was I wrong. In moving the blessed union from my desktop, where I was working to put it all together, to the permanent location I had in mind less than a foot away, one of the cords popped off no less than 3 times! To be fair, the second cord I had connected did stay in place, but because I wasn't able to get either printer to print I returned everything and bought a new switch box 2 PC to 1 USB 2.0 Device AB Switch Box (Printer, Scanner) removing my need for a coupler.
