 Poor functioning cable Mar 02, 2010
All kinds of wavy line distortions on this cable. The image had a constant jitter to it, and every now and then the video signal would drop out all together for about two seconds (sucks when you are trying to play a game!)
I have my Wii set up on two television, I bought this second set of cables so I can just pick up the wii and move it to another room, cables ready to go. Everything worked fine on the other cables in the other room. I ended up purchasing a Belkin set of cables that work just fine.
It looks like these cable are "crap shoots". You may get one that works, you may not. I say, just buy something of quality, save the headache.

This is a must have upgrade from the standard video cables that come with the Wii. HDMI isn't available as an option for the the Wii since only analog signals are available as an output, but component cables make a significant difference. This is a great deal compared to what you would pay retail in stores for a component video cable.
Works, but I don't notice any improvement in picture Jan 31, 2010
I bought this cable to replace the "standard" that comes with the game. My purpose was to free up the only "standard" connection available in my TV and use the component, since I have 2 component connections. It was supposed to also improve the picture quality, but I did not notice that at all.

Cable was delivered to Ireland from USA in about a week by standard post. 480p picture is much better but depends on the game resolution. For example Wii sports is a little blocky because the increased resolution does away with the hazy picture but this is more down to the game it's self, Mario Wii looks great tho. I'd recommend getting one.
