Works great, can be split to reach an amp Jan 05, 2010
By Jason C. Cox I got this specific component Wii cable because it looks like the cables can be separated to reach my TV and the amplifier that is about 2 feet away. There is a little piece of plastic that keeps the cable from being separated too far, but you can carefully cut this off.

GET THESE, TRUST ME. Aug 18, 2011
By gleng ok, so if you are reading this then you probably did what I did. I read through hundreds of ratings from hundreds of different wii cables that said 'DO NOT BUY THESE THEY ARE BAD', ETC. I finally just was like 'forget it, i'm going to buy these cheap ones and see what happens.'
THESE CABLES ARE AWESOME! The sound comes in crystal clear, the picture looks amazing on my 60" LED SAMSUNG. I highly recommend these cables. The saying is true, sometimes cheaper is better!!!!!

Fine, cheap cable. Apr 18, 2011
By J. Horton First I'll say I get a wonderful signal out of this thing, it made me smile powering up my Wii for the first time with my new tv. I have to unplug it to switch plugs with my old dvd player whenever I want to watch a movie. This hasn't degraded the performance of this cable at all after ~30 connections.
The only thing I don't really like is that the red inputs are easily confused. The colors are reversed to differentiate between video and audio, but when crawling behind the tv it's hard to really notice. It's a minor flaw though, not worth taking off a star.
Some people talk about interference when using these cables since they're unshielded. I don't think they even make a cable of this type which is shielded by my definition. These do fine. I see no interference even with tons of electronics around this thing. If you're having trouble with interference in general, may I suggest you might just be too neat! Cables that run parallel to each other might communicate like little antennae -- try making your wires a mess and see if that helps! :P

Can't beat the price Jan 29, 2011
By J. Louie Considering that the component cable from Nintendo (which, they claim, is the only one that will work with the Wii) costs $30, this was a real bargain. I just plugged this one into my Wii console and it works fine.

Great deal! Jan 29, 2011
By Sherry Apostol Recently treated myself to a new HDTV and I couldn't help but to buy component cables for my Wii. I immediately saw a difference with an increase in both color and clarity. Since I use Netflix through my Wii almost daily, I couldn't be happier with the price. With gaming, I seem to notice more things every time I play that I hadn't seen prior to buying the cables. Definitely can't complain!!
