 Good Idea but didn't work Feb 07, 2012

Don't waste your money on this item. I bought 3 of them to extend cables that I ran that were too short. None of them worked. I tested with multiple cables on multiple tvs and no luck. The seller got back to me and asked me to retest (which I did) but then they never got back to me. One would think you wouldn't have a problem with such a simple item but I got 3 lemons. BEWARE!
By the way all of the cables worked individually but not when attached to the couplers. I was only trying to attach a 3' extension. I reran all of my lines with longer cables. Recommend that you do the same and avoid the coupler. In all honesty, one coupler worked but the audio kept going on and off.
The seller is very promp with shipping and I did get the items much sooner than expected. I would recommend the seller, just not this product.

Works OK but seems a little loose like the plugs don't go in quite as far or as tightly as they should but I have had no issues with it in 6 months of use.

It's not the most amazing thing on the planet, but this is just what I needed. Super long HDMI wires are expensive, and I wound it cheaper to buy two shorter ones with this coupler, and it worked perfectly.
