 OK, but US side is not polarized Apr 28, 2009

I'm going to Australia and New Zealand, so I bought this adapter to use with my camera and cell phone charger. The photo shows an adapter that handles polarized plugs (with one blade wider than the other, like you see on a hair dryer), but the item I received does not handle polarized plugs. This is OK for me, because none of my devices use polarized plugs. Also, make sure to look at the fine print on your device to make sure that it can handle the Australian voltage (230 VAC, 50 Hz). If your device can't handle the high voltage, then you'll need to buy a heavier, bulkier, more expensive transformer-type adapter.

 Didn't work in China May 12, 2010

I bought this adapter to use in China, since China was listed in the title of the product as a country it would work in. The adapter didn't fit any plugs in three different cities in China. Luckily, our US plugs fit straight into the wall so we didn't need an adapter in the first place.

It's a long story but a white adaptor will not work for us. Just a waste of time that they showed an image of a different product. I won't order from these people again.
