The component cable does exctly what it says and is intended to do. It makes the image of the Wii onto any screen crystal clear. In addition, the shipment came in on great time and just when they said it would come on. Thanks guys and keep up the great work!

Don't know if there are better ones out there but if you have to have a component cable because that is all your TV takes then get this one. It is cheap and it works.

Pros: It works so you get Wii games in nice and clear 480p. Played this with Resident Evil 4 and looks better than any other Wii games since the Wii games look good anyway. Have yet to play other Gamecube games but should look better as well. Pretty good for $8.00.

Cons: Looks nothing like the image. The component ends feel a bit cheap, but at least it works. Its bulkier than the image. May not be able to fit in some HDTVs because of how bulky it is.

Bought this cable so we could hook up the Wii in 480p to our new HDTV. Cable is made well, and the signal looks great - nice and clean. Why pay twice the price for the official cable?
