I bought this cable to use with my iphone/radio to play music. It doesn't work. When I contacted the manufacturer they said they've never tested it for data/music.

It doesn't work for audio, which seems incredible to me - shouldn't the extension cable simply connect each of the contact points between the male and female plugs ? No rocket science there. Don't waste your money.

By Stephen S. Harris I also bought this product to play music in my car... of course it doesn't support audio transfer, so it is essentially worthless. Don't buy this unless for some reason you need an extension for charging.

By Dan Just got the cable in the mail. I hooked it up to my Iphone 4 via my charging/music car connector. It doesn't charge and it doesn't transfer the music. I wish I would have checked the reviews on this product first. PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. The only thing this cable is good for is using it as a belt to hold your pants up. Amazon please take this product off your website.
