It's a fine product and works well in extending cable length. However, one end is a bit loose. But it does not disconnect so long as it's not moved much.

This is an ethernet coupler. It provides a way to add one ethernet cable to another.
It is my understanding that it is ideal to have only a single cable to reduce noise and transmission degradation.
But this is great when you cannot easily replace a cable with a longer one, when you have two cables that together reach the length you need.
So far, I have experienced no noticeable degradation in my connection/performance with this device
It appears and feels well built (very important for ethernet connections!)
I am an IT specialist.
I am purchasing more.
