I have purchased 2 of these cables from this seller. After 4 months of gentle use. one is still working fine, but the other has a short in it and no longer works. I am purchasing a replacement for the shorted cable from a different seller.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- 6ft long cable
- iPhone/iPod connector on this cable is same size and shape as the connector on cable that came with iPhone 4
- Will connect to an iPhone 4 with Apple bumper installed
Cons:
- Cheaply made and may break after short period of time

This item can not be used for charging IPads. When the Ipad is plugged in, it displays an error message that says "This accessory is not authorized for charging."

Good, but could be better Feb 11, 2011

This cable is great for working at long ranges from the plug, but it can break too easily. I used this primarily for charging my iPhone, but now it will not charge at all unless the phone cable is the right position. I was able to get a replacement from the people that I bought the cable so everything is all right, except I have not gotten it in the mail yet. I hope it arrives.

I bought this for my iPad but it doesn't charge it. I ran the wire behind the wall for a wll mount installation and it was frustrating that i found out it didn't work after running it behind the wall

i was looking for this kind of wire from long time 10 feet freedom for your phone and ipad, now you can use it when it is charging you don't have to be near charger or wall to use it you can relax on char or bed and you can use it.
